New perspectives have a way to hit you instantly like sand grains in your eye. Often it is because of the fact that you have located yourself in a place where the horizon is widest possible. No shelter and no hide away. Only the wind and the width. The sand and the wave roll. All shades of cool grey from the sky have agreed to mix perfectly in with the shades of warm grey from the sand. A designed, greyish colour scheme from a mood board in a design process, that someone in some odd place, once thought was too right. To neat. Nothing like the real deal. It is difficult to tell where the sky limits and the earth begin. Everything is bright and everything is grey.

Rømø is a small isle in the Wadden Sea at the west coast of Jutland. Linked to the mainland by a road dam with a fully 9.2 km spectacular view from both sides to the Wadden Sea National Park when you keep steering straight forward you will reach Lakolk Beach. Rømø is surrounded by the Wadden Sea. So, when new ways must be trodden – I go Rømø and return.
